Good Digestion

Take your time

Digestion is one of the body's actions that is particularly affected by the stress of modern life. Most people lead very busy lives and they often do not take much time over their meals. They may eat unhealthy food, frequently in a great hurry.

This causes the digestive system real problems.

Meal times can be very special, social occasions. Families and friends can get together and catch up on each other's news. At the end of a busy day, there is nothing quite as relaxing as siting around the dinner table with people you like, having a happy hour eating and chatting. Eating this way is good for your digestive system too.

If you eat too quickly, without paying any attention to the quantity or quality of the food you eat, you may suffer from digestive problems and feel irritable and on edge. Eventually, you may even lose your appetitie. Many digestive problems are caused by a bad diet and by gobbling our food.

For the digestive system to work properly, we must give it what it needs - the right food and time to let it go down after eating.
