Environment

Singapore is a small island state with limited resources. Protecting our environment is of great importance to our survival. Singapore tries to prevent or reduce pollution by encouraging households and industries to reduce, reuse and recycle. Public transport is continually being improved so that fewer people will drive cars. This will reduce the burning of fuels which can cause aire pollution.
